Our neighborhood just participated in the "Annual City Clean Sweep" on April 15, 2000. A group of neighbors worked all day tidying up our front entrance. We trimmed trees that were blocking street lamps, picked up trash and planted flowers. The "Clean Sweep" was very successful and it made quite a difference in the appearance of our neighborhood. We did have some extra help from a group of Citadel Cadets and a local Brownie Troup. We celebrated with a potluck cookout for lunch.
